Q: What are your hours of operation?

A: Nusenda Center for Financial Capability is open Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Q: Is there a charge for any services offered?

A:  As a student of NMSU, our services at the Nusenda Center for Financial Capability Center are offered free of charge.

Q: Are consultations confidential?

A: Yes. The Nusenda Center for Financial Capability is dedicated to upholding the student's rights to confidentiality, especially important where personal finances are discussed.

Q: Is there a limit to the number of appointments I can have each semester?

A: No, there is no limit to the number of appointments you can make with our Peer Financial Coachces. You can meet with us as often as is necessary to address your financial needs.

Q: What if I do not bank with Nusenda Credit Union?

A: All students, regardless of financial institution are welcome to utilize services through the Nusenda Center for Financial Capability. We are a financial outreach and educational program administered by New Mexico State University and Nusenda Credit Union as partners in education.

Q: What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?

A: We kindly ask that you give a 24 hour notice if you should need to cancel an appointment. In case of an emergency, please call or email us as soon as possible. You can email us at ncfc@nmsu.edu or call at 575-646-0650 to reschedule.
